Republicans in Congress JUST took action to censure Congresswoman LaMonica McIver and remove her from her role on the Homeland Security Committee. This move comes right after LaMonica was charged by the Trump administration and indicted for doing her job conducting oversight at an ICE facility.
It’s obvious: extreme MAGA Republicans want to retaliate against her for doing oversight — a key part of her job. They want to kick her off of the committee that has oversight responsibility over the Department of Homeland Security. LaMonica won’t be intimidated and this desperate action certainly won’t stop her from standing up for what’s right.
