We all know how impressionable kids are. Many will copy anything they see on TV and online.
That’s why it’s up to parents and responsible adults to step in when things go too far.
So when we heard that YouTube is pushing content about assembling and modifying firearms to kids, we knew we had to say something.
With the summer in full swing and kids with more free time, it’s more important than ever that children and teens aren’t accessing content that promotes unsafe activities. At a time when violence from firearms is an all-too-frequent tragedy, YouTube’s content algorithm is failing to protect young, impressionable users.
When it comes to protecting our kids, we’re ALWAYS ready to take action. If you’re with us, sign our petition to demand that YouTube stop promoting firearms to children.

Our nation's kids deserve safe environments, both online and in person.
Exposing young internet users to firearm-related content only increases the risk for tragedy and violence.
YouTube’s algorithm is powerful enough to know when kids are engaging with content. So there’s no excuse for kids to be seeing any content that promotes violence or teaches them how to modify firearms.
We’re calling on YouTube to take immediate action to protect our kids from dangerous content. If you’re with us, sign the petition TODAY to demand that YouTube stops promoting violent content to kids.
