Why? Because the Justice Department has told Donald Trump he is in the files. No wonder Trump and his Republican enablers are desperate to keep the Epstein Files secret. They don’t care about the victims. They only care about protecting Trump. House Democrats have been pushing to release the Epstein Files and give the American people the truth. We have demanded votes in committees and have repeatedly put Republicans on the record for their shameful insistence on keeping the Epstein Files secret. The American people deserve a government that works for them, not one that shields pedophiles – no matter how wealthy or well-connected their associates may be. Beach Replenishment House Republicans are pulling the sand out from under us, advancing a controversial government funding bill that slashes federal funding for beach replenishment projects for the first time in nearly three decades. Their partisan bill abandons coastal communities at a time when climate change is accelerating erosion and increasing the risk of devastating storms. In New Jersey, we know that beach replenishment projects aren’t luxuries; they are lifelines. Towns on the Jersey Shore depend on beach replenishment to protect homes, businesses, and local economies. It also helps make sure our beaches are safe, resilient, and enjoyable for residents and tourists. Cutting funding for these projects makes absolutely zero sense, and I will fight these reckless cuts every step of the way.
