Question Of The Week

I voted to pass a rescissions package that would cut roughly $9 billion in unnecessary spending-things like taxpayer-funded programs for NPR, foreign aid for electric vehicle initiatives in other countries, and other non-essential items. Do you support efforts like this to rein in government spending?

Yes - we need more of this. No - I think these programs should be funded.

Indianapolis Selected For USDA Hub    

BIG NEWS FOR INDIANA! The United States Department of Agriculture has announced a reorganization to move the agency closer to the people it serves and selected INDIANAPOLIS for one of USDA’s 5 hub locations.

Last month, I led a delegation of stakeholders representing every corner of our states agriculture industry to meet with Secretary Rollins and pitch Indiana as the best candidate for a USDA hub location.

I am grateful to President Trump and Secretary Rollins for recognizing the strength and vision our state and agricultural leaders demonstrated during our meeting. This is a win-win for Indiana and taxpayers. It means real economic growth here at home and an agency that’s more efficient and focused on what matters most. Click here to learn more.
