On Monday and Tuesday of next week (July 28 and 29), there will be a conference held at the United Nations at the initiative of France and Saudi Arabia to work out a "framework for a Palestinian State and a two-state solution" to the ongoing genocidal war. The Trump Administration will not be attending and has threatened nations that do with "consequences." President Macron has announced his intention to recognize Palestine at the UNGA in September. The LaRouche Organization will be intervening in these activities with urgent demands to halt the genocide and allow UNRWA and other qualified agencies to flood Gaza with desperately needed food and humanitarian supplies and to stop delaying the formal recognition of a Palestinian State, including at the UN, with all of the rights and privileges that accompany that status.

In preparation for our action, I invited nuclear engineer Dr. Vincenzo Romanello, founder of the Italian “Atoms for Peace” to be my guest on tonight's program. He was inspired by Lyndon LaRouche's 1975 Oasis plan to "fill in the numbers"-- in effect, to draw up a bill of materials to make it happen. Dr. Romanello is interested in feedback on his initial proposal, which will obviously have to be refined by the people on the ground with more precise knowledge of the geography and other factors, but it is a very exciting and realistic perspective.
