Learn more about the 475+ employers, and 33,000+ job opportunities at myntxjobs.com. I hope to see you there! | | I was able to join President Trump at the White House when he signed the GENIUS Act into law, this is the first major federal crypto legislation to be enacted. | |
Thank you to the 6,000+ of you who joined me for my Telephone Town Hall on Monday night. I always enjoy hearing from you and answering your questions.
Thank you to RaDonna Hessel, President of the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce for joining us to share about the North Texas Job Fair.

It was great to welcome pharmacists from across Texas and the Senior Care Pharmacy Coalition to the Capitol this week. As the leading voice for long-term care pharmacies, they are doing critical work to protect access to essential medications and services for our seniors.
I’m glad to be working on legislation that will help to ensure that long-term care pharmacies can continue to provide lifesaving care and support seniors across the country.
| | It was great to chat with a group of physical therapists from North Texas during their visit to Washington! We discussed access to physical therapy care and the burdensome regulations that many PT clinics are facing. | | On Tuesday, I had a great time celebrating the One Big Beautiful Bill at the White House with President Trump, DNI Tulsi Gabbard, and many of my House Republican colleagues! This bill is truly for everyone, and delivers historic wins for the American people. | | We had a Small Business Committee markup, where we reported out five bills to the House. These bills will support an American manufacturing renaissance, and will continue to help small businesses across the country. | |
I introduced the Stop FUNDERs Act to add rioting, organizing, and funding of these violent anarchist actions under RICO statutes so our law enforcement has new tools to take down these crime syndicates. Read more below in my work of the week.
I joined my Ways and Means colleagues for the Joint Health and Oversight Subcommittee Hearing, “Medicare Advantage: Past Lessons, Present Insights, Future Opportunities”. We must reform Medicare Advantage to build a healthcare system that puts patients first. Click here or on the photo below to watch my remarks.
| | I was able to host some friends from the UK, Baroness Owen of Alderley Edge, and Members of Parliament, Peter Bedford, Richard Holden, and James Wild. It was great to meet with them on their trip to Washington. | | I had the chance to meet with the Chairman of Regulus Global, a defense solutions provider based in Virginia. They are in the process of building their next production facility that will be based right here in North Texas. | |
With bipartisan support, we passed the Coast Guard Authorization Act, which will build on the investments from the One Big Beautiful Bill to provide our Coast Guard with the resources they need to continue to protect our waters, and to further stop the flow of illegal drugs into our country.
Had the chance to catch up with the leadership of Scouting America and welcome them to Washington, with their national headquarters based in Irving. Scouting America plays an important role in the lives of thousands of young people across our district and around the country.
| | I always enjoy seeing students from North Texas visiting D.C. I recently had the pleasure of welcoming Grapevine Faith during their class trip to the Capitol, and they even had the chance to meet my friends, Rep. Schweikert and Rep. Roy! The students asked thoughtful questions about what it's like to serve in Congress, and it was inspiring to see them learning more about the history of our great nation. | | Texas-24 Work of the Week | | This week, I introduced the Stop FUNDERs Act to give law enforcement the tools they need to go after the organizers and funders behind violent, coordinated riots. These are not one-off protests, they are planned attacks carried out by the same extremist networks across our cities. It’s time we treat them like the criminal enterprises they are and hold them accountable. | | This week’s Texas-24 Hometown Hero is Corporal Lee Higginbotham, an Army veteran and Dallas VA Police Officer. We are grateful for his bravery, service, and continued dedication to our community. | | 2025 North Texas Job Fair | |
