John, we’re still trying to process the devastating news:

Donald Trump’s EPA announced it is eliminating the agency’s entire scientific research arm.

We're talking about hundreds of chemists, biologists, toxicologists, and other scientists — the very people who study the health risks of toxic chemicals. The same people who test our drinking water for contamination, and who figure out if the air we breathe is safe for our children.

This is personal. In 2022, our founder and leader, Jane Fonda, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. She went through months of chemotherapy, but in many ways she was lucky. Jane had access to incredible doctors and effective treatments made possible by decades of scientific research.

The science that saved Jane’s life came from researchers just like the hundreds of EPA scientists that Donald Trump announced he's firing.

These scientists have spent their careers protecting us from the toxins that corporate polluters want to dump into our environment. And now Trump is firing them so those same polluters can operate without anyone checking their work.
