Last month, Republicans in Congress passed legislation that threatens the very foundations of our public institutions—from schools and libraries to health clinics, parks, and more.1
Now, because of Trump and Republicans’ agenda, millions of people will be stripped of essential health care and food assistance services.2 There’s a critical need to reach out to those impacted by these cuts. We need to amplify the stories of those impacted by Medicaid, Medicare, and SNAP cuts—as well as public service workers like librarians, educators, health care professionals, park rangers, and others—to understand how these changes have affected their work and the people they serve.
If you’re currently (or previously have been) a librarian, educator, health care worker, park ranger, or federal/state agency employee, fill out our survey, so we can keep in touch as we’re building out the campaign to hold congressional Republicans accountable and vote them out of office in 2026.
We know that stories from people have the power to push back against the MAGA agenda, show the public the real impacts of this cruel legislation, and mobilize the public.
This short survey was designed to identify people who are ready to speak out, share their stories, take action, or stay connected to efforts that defend our democracy and our communities. Let’s make sure the country hears from those who know what’s at stake.
