Due to environmental pressures and homophobia, 2SLGBTQIA+ youth are at the highest risk for suicide ideation.

This makes crisis hotlines with trained specialists a crucial resource for struggling queer youth, especially if they’re unable to access mental health care.

This didn’t stop the Trump administration from ending targeted suicide prevention services on the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, which provided mental health support for 1.5 million queer youth.

This is devastating for the thousands of people in our partner states and all across the country. Regardless of zip code, everyone should have access to the specialized help that they need.
