The third and final “Comp Plan Open House” is this Wednesday, July 30 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Auburn Senior Community Center on Pettengill Park Road. Residents, business owners and stakeholders are invited to join us for “Streets, Structures, Spaces & Future: A Visioning Event for Auburn’s Built Environment.”

This open house is just one of many ways you can share your ideas about Auburn’s built environment. We’ll look at streets, buildings, and spaces across the city and explore how those spaces could adapt to address future needs.

This open-house style event will feature interactive activities for all ages to share your ideas, and games for children. Your input is needed so that the final 2026 Comp Plan will reflect the vision, values, and priorities of the community.

SAVE THE DATE! Plan to join the Auburn Police Department on Tuesday, August 5 from 5:30PM to dusk for our 21st annual "National Night Out!"

This family-friendly, anti-crime community event is the best party of the year. Enjoy LIVE music by the L/A Harley Band - courtesy of our friends at L-A Harley, shoot hoops with local basketball legend Troy Barnies, free hot dogs, punch & pop corn, lots of cool police, fire & public works equipment, our police K9 "Brick" and comfort dog Benny-Bud, community partners & giveaways, bounce houses & SO much fun for the whole family!!

Admission is free, so bring the whole family down to Main Street/Festival Plaza on August 5th and connect with the APD and your neighbors at the biggest block party in Auburn: National Night Out!

The 7th annual Auburn Blues & Brews Festival is getting a bit of a makeover this year. We're excited to report that we're adding a classic car show and moving the event to Lewiston-Auburn Balloon Festival weekend! LABF organizers asked us to host an event on the Auburn side of the river during BalloonFest again this year and we were thrilled to say "yes!"

The event will also have a new name: Auburn Blues, Brews & Cruise! We'll have incredible live blues by Bad Daddy; Matt & The Barnburners; Kimball, Goodman & Miller; and Continental Shakedown, featuring Dave Wakefield.

There will be food trucks, delicious craft brews and fun for all ages! So, mark your calendar for Auburn Blues, Brews & Cruise 2025: Saturday, August 16th, noon to 5PM, Main Street/Festival Plaza.

If you have a classic car, sign up today for our car show - space is limited. Learn more at: www.auburnblues.com!
