It is an honor of my lifetime to work every day to fight for a better life for all eastern North Carolinians. Here are a few things I’ve been able to accomplish during my time in office:

🩺Passed the Rural Emergency Hospital Financial Stability Act, legislation designed to support health care facilities facing closure.
🎓Expanded access to early childhood education
🏅Fought for health and housing assistance for veterans

I’m always working for you, friend, and I’ll never let partisan politics and bickering get in the way of getting the job done for NC-01. I was raised working in the tobacco fields of North Carolina. I know and understand the struggles many families and communities face across our district. My number priority is fighting for you .

But, protecting this seat will be an uphill battle. Last November, we won this seat by just 6,000 votes and the GOP has already named me a top target. My millionaire opponent has already raised over $2 million to defeat me, so we will need all hands on deck to protect this seat and ensure we can keep fighting to improve the lives of eastern North Carolinians. Can I count on you to chip in to help me continue fighting for affordable healthcare, education access, veterans support, and so much more?
