Seven years ago, I survived the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Seventeen of our classmates and administrators were murdered that day. In the aftermath, politicians lined up to make us promises.
Pam Bondi was one of them.
She stood in front of cameras, looked me and other survivors in the eye and promised to help. She vowed to keep guns out of dangerous hands and claimed to support policies that would prevent future tragedies. At her confirmation hearing for U.S. Attorney General, she invoked the names and pain of Parkland families to secure her position.
Then she got to Washington and systematically broke every single promise.
She's effectively legalized machine guns. She's refused to support the same red flag laws she endorsed after Parkland. She's torn down a memorial to gun violence victims. She's gutted the very programs designed to prevent the kind of violence that killed our peers.
Pam Bondi thinks she can exploit our tragedy and face no consequences. We're about to prove her wrong.
Today, we're launching our "Parkland Pam" campaign, and we need your help. The campaign will expose Bondi's betrayal with mobile billboards, a digital hub documenting her broken promises, and survivor-led advocacy that won't let her forget the promises she made to grieving families.
