Team — Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth doesn’t think women should be in combat.

In fact, he’s even said that allowing women to serve has lowered our military standards. 

He could not be more wrong. 

Jason served three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He knows what it takes to be an effective combat soldier. It takes grit, courage, mental and physical toughness, ingenuity, and teamwork — qualities that both men and women possess.

It’s why he has always supported equal opportunities for both men and women to serve our country. 

From Hegseth’s remarks about women in service and his recent ousting of the Naval Academy’s first female superintendent to his negligent and downright dangerous leadership that puts our troops at risk, one thing is very clear: Hegseth is not fit to lead our Department of Defense.
