This isn’t up for debate: Defunding public media companies like NPR and PBS helps far-right politicians operate in the shadows. And does anyone actually believe our government should be less transparent?

Apparently MAGA Republicans do. That’s why they just voted to cut over $1 BILLION from NPR and PBS!

It’s despicable. Trump and his MAGA minions are trying to attack ANYONE who refuses to parrot this Administration’s lies. But Dave Min won’t let them get away with it. Please, can you sign your name to Dave’s new petition and DEFEND public media from Trump’s attacks?

This move is straight out of the authoritarian playbook. It’s not about restoring so-called “balance” to the media. And it sure as hell isn’t about fiscal responsibility.

It’s about giving the American people two options, and two options only: Right-wing propaganda, or nothing at all.

NPR and PBS stations are truly priceless. They issue life-saving emergency alerts, including earthquake and tsunami warnings. They provide critical educational programming for our kids. And their non-partisan, independent journalism keeps our government accountable to the people.

But because they REFUSE to mindlessly push Trump’s misinformation over the airwaves, these stations are on the chopping block. We can’t let that happen.
