JUST IN — Extremely disturbing emails written by Taylor Yarkosky (who is facing calls to resign as the Chair of the Lake County Republican Party) are now circulating, in which he admits having beaten his wife.

Yarkosky stated he was “physically abusive” and having “beat her down to the point” that she “ended up in the hospital a couple times.”

I’m only sharing one segment of the letter — for now — because the rest is so disturbing I do not feel comfortable sharing it.

This person is not suitable for office and he must resign IMMEDIATELY.

Background on Yarkosky:
* He beat his ex-wife on multiple occasions, and was investigated by Clermont police over the course of several years.
* He has been arrested three times.
* He was recently caught by WESH Channel 2 writing a fake check to a constituent and swindling thousands from the man.
* Just last month, a $7 million judgment was awarded against him for financial fraud by a Lake County Judge (Case No: 2024-CA-1698).
* Governor DeSantis sent mass text messages warning voters about him two months ago because he was undermining Republican bills in Tallahassee.
* Two months ago, he requested a state police agency to arrest an 80-year-old Vietnam veteran and twist the man’s arm behind his back when the man tried to visit and join the Lake County Republican party.
* Three Months ago, he shredded 60+ applications of Republicans that sought to join the local party and has blocked new members since December.
* All of his appropriation bills for Lake-Sumter College FAILED and did not pass because he skipped legislative hearings to play in an 80s “cover band” as a “side gig” in order to pay down the various court judgements against him and help with his “money issues” (you can’t make this up).

I hope he does the right thing and resigns IMMEDIATELY.
