Dear Illinois Republicans,
President Donald J. Trump has delivered on his promises unlike any commander-in-chief in history — and the wins keep coming, perfectly illustrated by three recent headlines:

Trump’s ‘No Tax on Tips’ policy could put thousands back in servers’ pockets (KXXV-TV, Waco, TX): “Servers and other tipped workers could see significant financial benefits from President Trump’s ‘No Tax on Tips’ policy, potentially saving thousands of dollars annually.”

Health Care Provider Puts Stop To Trans Surgeries On Kids (The Daily Wire): “Health care provider Kaiser Permanente confirmed to The Daily Wire on Wednesday that it was pausing all transgender surgeries for patients under the age of 19 in response to pressure from the Trump administration.”

Trump Delivers Most Secure Border in History — June Migrant Arrests Drop 15 Percent from Prior Record (Breitbart): “The Trump administration delivered on its promise to secure the U.S.-Mexico border and set new records for the lowest number of migrant encounters. The June Southwest Land Border Encounters Report from U.S. Customs and Border Protection shows yet another decrease in migrant encounters, including the lowest number of encounters in a single day.”
In contrast, Governor JB Pritzker is heading to North Carolina to headline the state’s annual “Unity Dinner” — a high-profile event where he’ll try to charm Democrat voters in yet another early presidential primary state. It’s clear that Pritzker isn’t focused on Illinois — he’s focused on 2028.
This is nothing new. For the past three years, Governor Pritzker has been auditioning for the role of national party leader, chasing headlines and out-of-state spotlights at every turn:
First, in 2022, he traveled to New Hampshire to raise his national profile — laying the groundwork for a future White House run. Then, he refused to put presidential rumors to rest during the Democrats’ soft coup against Joe Biden. Then, when Kamala Harris was floated as the heir apparent, Pritzker launched a full-court press to become her running mate. Then, he returned to New Hampshire to speak at the state’s largest Democrat fundraiser, where he used his platform to inflame partisan tensions. And now, he’s jetting off to yet another key presidential state while Illinois faces real problems at home.
Taxpayers and working families are left asking the obvious question: Is JB Pritzker running for President, or is he still Governor of Illinois?
His recent record doesn’t leave much doubt:
Pritzker has prioritized illegal immigrants over Illinois families. He’s worked to undermine President Trump at every opportunity. He’s pushed extreme policies that drive jobs and families out of our state. And he’s weaponized political rhetoric, escalating division for his own ambition. He is calling for even more gerrymandering in Illinois — despite already signing one of the most partisan congressional maps in the country.
It’s clear: Governor Pritzker is more focused on his national image than leading our state. Illinoisans deserve to know — is he committed to staying in Illinois to do the job he was elected to do, or is he going to continue leaving the state as he pursues his White House ambitions?
Exactly one year ago, the political world was in turmoil. And a little more than one year from today, Illinois voters will help determine the future of our Republican Majority in Congress — and with it, the success of President Trump’s America First agenda.
Here at home, JB Pritzker will be on the ballot. Our job is simple: to ask every voter — regardless of party — Are you better off under his ego-driven, left-wing leadership?
