Apply for Funding to Provide Services for Victims of Crime [ [link removed] ]

The Justice Department’s Office of Justice Programs, Office for Victims of Crime, is pleased to announce the following Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs).  

We encourage you to review the OJP Grant Application Resource Guide [ [link removed] ] and visit the JustGrants Application Submission Training page [ [link removed] ] to find step-by-step instructions to guide you through the entire funding application process.

Additionally, on-demand, pre-application videos about the mechanics of applying and details on the programmatic areas of the NOFOs will be posted to our Funding Webinars page [ [link removed] ] as they become available.

OVC will continue to post its FY25 NOFOs on a rolling basis as they are completed over the next few weeks. As NOFO’s are posted, you can find them on the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) Current Funding Opportunities [ [link removed] ] page.

*OVC FY25 Increasing Availability of Medical Forensic Examinations for Victims of Sexual Assault [ [link removed] ]*
*APPLICATION DEADLINE: Grants.gov: August **29; JustGrants: September 8*

This NOFO will provide funding to support the establishment or expansion of SANE/SAFE programs; increase the number of trained and certified SANEs to perform medical forensic exams through hiring and development programs; establish or enhance coordination between law enforcement agencies, healthcare facilities, and victim advocates; and retain SANE nurses by addressing vicarious trauma and burnout.

*OVC FY25 National Crime Victim Crisis Hotlines [ [link removed] ]*

This NOFO will provide funding to maintain, enhance, or expand the capacity of national hotlines that are essential for providing crisis intervention services, safety planning, information, referrals, and resources for victims of crime in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories.

*You must have active registrations in *SAM.gov* [ [link removed] ] and *Grants.gov* [ [link removed] ] "before" you can apply for Department of Justice funding opportunities. If you’ve used these systems in the past, check that your registration and users are current.  


* *Register today. *You can register in *SAM.gov* [ [link removed] ] and *Grants.gov* [ [link removed] ] any time—you don’t have to wait until a funding opportunity is open. SAM.gov registrations expire after 12 months and must be renewed every year. Grants.gov accounts deactivate after a year of inactivity or if your SAM.gov registration expires.
* *Update points of contact.* Check and update your entity’s POCs in both systems now to prevent delays in completing your application—or miss the application deadline.
