I came home to Colorado to care for both of my parents as they faced terminal cancer. It showed me how broken our health care system is. How hard it is to get care. How expensive it is to survive.

That experience changed me forever. And it's why I have to hold Lauren Boebert accountable for voting for the GOP's so-called "Big, Beautiful Bill."

She took health insurance away from millions, defunded rural hospitals and gutted food assistance for kids and seniors – all to funnel trillions in tax cuts to the ultrawealthy.

She's supposed to represent us. But she sold us out. 

We have a chance to send Lauren Boebert packing – but we need to build a campaign powered by people, not by megadonors.

It's moments like this that remind me why I'm running for Congress: because the people who raised me, the families I've met on the trail and the working folks across CO-04 deserve leadership that shows up and tells the truth. Not another politician who cashes in on cruelty and leaves her constituents behind. 

I'm ready to be the leader our communities deserve. But if I'm going to defeat Lauren Boebert and flip the House blue, I need to reach folks where they are. That means knocking on doors, putting up ads and holding meet and greets – and all of that takes resources.
