1) Whoops! Democrats Blame Trump For Bidenflation
This may go down in the annals of history as one of the most disastrous political social media posts ever. The Democratic National Committee posted this chart blaming the runaway grocery bill inflation from 2021-24 on Donald Trump:

But the chart proves just the opposite. Within hours, the Trump instant response team fired out a reality check reminding Americans that virtually all of the 25% rise in food prices happened in Biden's four years in office - as the DNC's own chart shows.
Here's our UP chart comparing prices of food and energy items under Trump (the red bars) vs Biden (the blue bars).
The DNC post has been pulled down. We're told their next ad will blame the botched Afghanistan withdrawal on Trump.

2) What Did Biden Know and Did He Ever Really Know It?
Joe Biden has sold his memoirs for $10 million. Good for him, although Dr. Jill can't be too happy that it's a lot less than Clinton and Obama got. But a memoir by someone who doesn't have much memory may not be too revealing.

We sincerely hope he is of sound-enough mind to resolve a litany of pressing questions about his presidency that remain unanswered. We've been compiling a list, and we'd gladly pay $30 to Barnes and Noble to read answers to these:
* Just who were you shaking hands with on that empty stage?
* Was Kamala's job as Border Czar to unsecure the border?
* When did you learn there was such a thing as inflation?
* Who formally introduced you to the autopen and said you would be fast friends?
* What exactly did you agree to in that secret meeting in the spring of 2020 when your cronies forced Bernie Sanders out of the race?
* How did you get so rich after more than 40 years in politics?
* Can you describe those weekly lunches in the Oval Office with Kamala?
* Who was the real president while you were in the White House?
* What was it like being locked in the basement for those six months before the 2020 election? Claustrophobic?
To our faithful readers: We'd love to hear your list of unanswered questions.

3) Half of Americans Are ALREADY Using AI
We maintain that most Americans have no idea how rapidly and dramatically AI and robotics will change our lives over the next five to ten years. How we work, how long we work, how we play, how we travel, how our factories operate, how we communicate, how long we live, will be profoundly and forever impacted.
Economist Jon Hartley at the Hoover institute just published this chart on the growing percentage of Americans who are accessing AI over just the past six months. The percentage has gone from almost zero to 50% in the blink of an eye. Many of these AI users aren't even aware they are accessing it.

4) Congress to IRS: Stop the Witch Hunt of Business Partnerships
Maybe the Republicans on the House Ways & Means Committee have been reading HOTLINE. We complained about the IRS harassment of millions of legitimate business partnerships and now Congress in a letter to the Agency that they cease and desist.

"American taxpayers and businesses deserve clear and consistent tax rules that allow them to confidently comply with the law," said Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11). "Reconsidering this relic of the Biden administration's IRS would remove a contradictory compliance burden and help instill a more predictable tax code. The Trump administration has secured historic tax reforms for the American people. We are hopeful that it will remain committed to restoring fairness. We respectfully urge the IRS to rescind this Biden-era regulation, eliminate uncertainty, and restore greater trust in the American tax code."
"[T]he ruling assumes that related-party transactions inherently lack a legitimate business purpose," the letter reads. "This assumption is at odds with long-established tax law and the reality of how businesses operate.
We hope IRS Commissioner Billy Long is paying attention.

5) Medical Journals Go Woke
Congrats to the City Journal for exposing how far to the left the once-revered Journal of the American Medical Association has swung to the looney left. City Journal found by a word search of JAMA and its associated network of medical journals that woke terms like "inequity," "racism," and "diversity," and "intersectionality" often show up more in these journals than common medical terms like asthma and heart failure.
This can't be good for the nation's health.
