These changes will save countless lives and help end the physical and emotional suffering inflicted by commercial breeding operations. But we can’t afford to lose momentum now. Recently, we’ve seen major pushback from corporations like Petland and their lobbyists to overturn these state-level protections because their business model depends on allowing puppy mills to operate without accountability. We know these corporations are on the wrong side of history, and, with the support of over 400 pet stores nationwide, we can continue to advocate for lasting change.
