Scott Morrison wants to destroy our ABC. 

Yesterday it was announced that 250 jobs will be cut from the ABC. There will also be cuts to news programs including the cancellation of the 7:45am radio news bulletin.

These cuts are a direct result of Scott Morrison’s $83.7 million funding cut to our ABC. We need to fight back.

Right now, there is a tight by-election happening in Eden-Monaro. It’s our chance to send a message to Scott Morrison that Australians won’t stand for cutting funding to our ABC.

Can you chip in help us run digital ads in Eden-Monaro to make voters aware of these cuts?

Our candidate in Eden-Monaro, Kristy McBain, knows better than most how important the ABC is. When bushfires devastated her community, they relied on the national broadcaster to keep them updated and keep them safe.

Kristy will be a voice in Parliament to stop cuts to ABC funding. And getting her elected will send a strong message to the Prime Minister that our ABC matters. But she can’t do it alone.
