Hello friends,

Summer is in full swing across the state, and I’ve been grateful for the chance to spend time in district at fairs, festivals, and community events. These gatherings are a great reminder of what makes our area strong: connection, tradition, and pride in where we live.

I want to share some upcoming events with you in our community, that I am very excited to attend:

*Blooming Prairie Ribfest [ [link removed] ]* – "July 26th (Blooming Prairie)"
Ribfest delivered once again with delicious barbecue, live music, and a festive atmosphere that brought the community out in full force. It’s small-town summer at its best.

*Litomysl Summer Festival [ [link removed] ]* – "July 27th (Litomysl)"
This celebration of Czech heritage and Catholic tradition always brings the community together. This is always a highlight of the summer.

*Freeborn County Fair [ [link removed] ]* – "July 29th to August 3rd (Albert Lea)"
A staple in the region, this fair includes livestock shows, entertainment, exhibits, and great food. A big thank-you to everyone who helps make it happen each year.

*National Night Out* – "August 5th "
From Austin to Albert Lea and beyond, neighbors came together with law enforcement and first responders to strengthen community relationships. I’m grateful for the men and women who work every day to keep us safe.

*Mower County Fair [ [link removed] ]* – "August 5th to August 10th (Austin)"
Wrapping up the summer fair season, Mower County’s event was packed with youth exhibits, agriculture showcases, rides, and community spirit. A great way to close out a busy few weeks.






Thank you to all the volunteers, organizers, and community leaders who work hard behind the scenes to make these events a success. It’s an honor to represent our district, and I look forward to seeing many of you at these events!
