I'll be the first to tell you how proud I am to be a House Democrat -- especially in times like these. The coronavirus crisis has placed long-standing systemic issues under the national spotlight -- including Americans' unequal access to health care.

That's why House Democrats just introduced legislation to strengthen the Affordable Care Act. While the Trump Administration attempts to dismantle the ACA, House Democrats are standing firm to defend reliable, affordable, and accessible health care for each and every American. NO ONE should be denied health care due to pre-existing conditions like diabetes, cancer, or asthma. 

That's why I promise that as long as I'm in Congress, I will work tirelessly to defend the ACA -- but to do that, I need to win re-election in November.
