“Historic”: that’s how many described Tuesday’s parliamentary swearing-in of our One Nation Senators.

Family, friends, dedicated team members and proud Senator’s Circle supporters were all there in person to back our team.

One Nation has come a long way from humble beginnings. As Senator Malcolm Roberts , now re-elected after successfully contesting his third federal election with our party, rightly pointed out - our movement now stands on rock-solid ground.

Senator’s Circle members travelled from all corners of the country to witness the official swearing-in, conducted by the Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia. A truly democratic moment, and a proud one at that.

Then came Parliament’s compulsory dose of virtue-signalling: yet another “welcome to country”. Our Senators stood silently and turned their backs, a quiet but powerful protest.

In follow-up media interviews, both Senators Hanson and Roberts rightly labelled these constant ceremonies as tokenistic nonsense that’s gone too far. They don’t help struggling Aboriginal Australians one bit, but they do cost taxpayers a fortune every time they’re rolled out.

Not surprisingly, our out-of-touch PM, Anthony Albanese, had the gall to claim that welcome to countries aren’t ‘controversial’. Pauline Hanson didn’t miss him, calling the PMweak, pathetic, and an embarrassment.

With Parliament back in full swing, it’s crystal clear: Pauline Hanson is the real opposition. The so-called “Opposition” have now taken to performing welcome to countries themselves. You couldn’t make it up.
