This month, our team has done a lot of reflecting on what it means to confront the rise of autocracy under the Trump Regime. 

From ICE abductions and the terrorizing of immigrant communities to court rulings rooted in far-right extremism — every single day, we’re faced with efforts designed to make us feel powerless, afraid, and isolated. 

But team, we cannot give up.

The truth is, we’re holding multiple realities at once. We feel grief, but we also feel fierce determination. We feel tired, but motivated. We especially feel heartbreak, but we never lose hope. And hope is what allows us to keep going.

Hope alone won’t protect our democracy. That’s why we are so intentional and thoughtful about our strategies to elect pro-voter Democracy Champions and win elections, to mobilize effectively, and to defend our allies in their fights to block harmful organizations and anti-voter efforts.
