The Trump administration has allowed Immigration and Customs Enforcement
(ICE) officials to access the personal information of over 70 million
Medicaid recipients.
Names, addresses, birth dates, Social Security numbers, and even ethnicity
— all available to ICE.^1
Let’s be absolutely clear: This is part of the Trump administration’s
broader plan for mass deportation and authoritarian control.
By turning trusted healthcare programs into surveillance tools, they’re
sending a message — if you’re an immigrant seeking medical care, you’re a
target.
This is yet another unprecedented overreach of power, and it’s dangerous.
Alexandria, Ayanna, Ilhan, and Rashida are calling out these abuses,
fighting back against mass deportation, and working to protect the right
to healthcare for all. But they can’t do it alone.
Our movement helps power the Squad’s fight to hold the far-right
accountable and defend our communities from these injustices. And it’s
going to take all of us to keep this fight alive.

Any contributor may designate their contribution for a particular participant. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
