Team, we asked for your take on climate impacts—and you came through.

The hundreds of responses to our Climate Survey told a clear story: The climate crisis is here, and we're all feeling it.

A quarter of the stories submitted were about wildfires and other climate-driven disasters like hurricanes. We heard personal accounts of members living in constant fear of the next fire, urgent evacuations to escape the worst, homes and neighborhoods flattened, and the resilience through it all.

But more than anything, our community feels the impacts of air pollution and extreme heat on their daily lives. Members with asthma struggle to leave their homes because of climate-driven heat waves and bad air quality. Other members on disability told us they have to keep their A/C at 90° during the summer because their electricity bills are too expensive.

We hear you, and we're fighting for solutions every day in Sacramento. If you want to see how your representative is doing on climate and hold them accountable for their actions, check out our Scorecard.

Our team was so moved by your personal accounts of struggle, sacrifice, and strength in the face of climate-driven disasters. We're grateful that you shared your stories with us, and we're fired up to fight harder than ever for bold climate progress—for you, your families, and your community.

Thank you for being part of this movement.

Hi friend,

Chances are, you have been personally impacted by catastrophic wildfires, deadly air pollution, extreme heat, floods, or the rising affordability crisis. California is the most diverse state in the entire country, and we see a sweeping range of climate effects that impact every area differently.

So right now, we could really use your insight as we work to fight the biggest environmental battles in California. Take our quick one-minute survey to share what issues are most critical for you and your community.

Here's what our regional organizers have to say about their firsthand experience in the communities across California that they represent:

Ashley Jackson, Inland Empire Regional Organizer
Hi! I'm Ashley, and I’m proud to call the Inland Empire (IE) my home. What drew me to the IE is what keeps me here: the strength and resilience of the community, especially in the face of major environmental challenges like worsening air quality, sprawling land use, inadequate public transportation, and the increasing impacts of drought, wildfire, and extreme heat.

Renna Hickey, Sierra Nevada Regional Organizer
My name is Renna, and I'm EnviroVoters' regional organizer in the Sierra Nevada. I'm always inspired by the tight-knit communities and beautiful natural spaces in my region, but it's not all beautiful views here. The Sierra faces critical issues like devastating wildfires, water pollution, and health impacts from mining projects.

Pa Houa Lee, Central Valley Regional Organizer
Hi, I'm Pa Houa, the Central Valley regional organizer for EnviroVoters. My home in the Central Valley is the heart of California, the agricultural powerhouse of the nation, and a vibrant and diverse community rooted in Southeast Asian and Latino culture. Living here, I've experienced the many ways the climate crisis affects our community through air pollution, extreme heat, and water issues like drought and access to drinking water.

Right now, EnviroVoters is fighting for Californians across the state—which means we need your insight on the issues you care about the most. Will you take our one-minute survey to share your environmental priorities so EnviroVoters can prioritize what matters most to YOU?

Thank you so much for being a crucial part of this movement.
