My name is Jonathan Nez and today I’m officially launching my campaign to become the next Congressman for Arizona’s 2nd Congressional District – one of the most critical districts to win to take back the House.

As a man driven by faith, family, and love, my campaign is about bringing people from all walks of life together to create meaningful change for our district.

In 2024, our campaign delivered one of the strongest overperformances in the nation. We had over 78,000 grassroots online donors, and put AZ-2 on the map to the point that this is now one of the DCCC’s “Districts in Play” – meaning that winning this seat is critical to taking back the House.

Before I say more, I want you to know: the early days of a campaign can make or break it. Will you help me start strong by splitting a donation between my campaign and Blue Amp Action to close our $104,319 budget gap?

Following my graduation from Northern Arizona University, I was elected to the Navajo Nation Council to represent my community, and I’ve been in public service ever since. I subsequently served as a county official and as Vice President of the Navajo Nation before being elected President of the Navajo Nation in 2019.

I’m running to deliver generational change, because we owe it to our children and grandchildren to leave them a future better than the one we inherited. Unfortunately, our current representative isn’t interested in improving the lives of his constituents. His votes to cut healthcare and food assistance from our most vulnerable populations might go over well in the fancy suburb where Eli Crane lives, but out here in rural Arizona, that dog won’t hunt.

I’m ready to show up in Congress as a champion for rural Arizona, but I need your support. Can you please split a contribution between my campaign and Blue Amp Action today?

Our district faces real challenges: from the rising costs of gas, food, childcare, and housing to a lack of accountability in Washington. We need a representative in Congress who’s focused on the issues here in Arizona — not the partisan squabbles of DC.
