Donald Trump knows he's in deep, deep trouble for re-election—but the Republican National Committee just announced a $20 million voter suppression plan to steal the election.
Step one: Fight any efforts to expand vote-by-mail and stop in-person early voting. and any other program that would help voters—especially people of color—cast their ballot without fear of catching or spreading the coronavirus.
Step two: Recruit 50,000 Republican activists to go to polling places on Election Day and challenge as many ballots as possible to intimidate voters and gum things up in Democratic precincts.
Step three: Use Trump's "command" of the corporate media to spout baseless conspiracy theories about voter fraud and rigged elections to cast doubt on any election result that doesn't make him the winner.
