John,
Zohran Mamdani — an open socialist running for mayor of New York City — is proposing the very policies which Ayn Rand’s villains gleefully imposed.
He is pushing for government seizure of property, racial reparations, rent cancellation, and wealth redistribution on a massive scale.
Mamdani doesn’t believe in earned success. He believes in assigned victimhood.
He doesn’t believe in empowering individuals. He wants to punish achievement and use race and class as weapons to divide.
Mamdani’s ideas lead to breadlines, not breakthroughs.
When I first read Ayn Rand’s We the Living, which drew directly from her own experience growing up under Soviet communism, I was haunted by the images of breadlines… of lives wasted waiting on the state… of the erosion of personal freedom… of dreams strangled by envy, fear, and force.
Today, I see those same destructive ideas rearing their ugly heads in America’s greatest city.
The fact that Mamdani could win a primary and now has a chance at leading what was once our nation’s bastion of capitalism demonstrates that these are more than just bad ideas. They are signs of a greater problem: the growing popularity of the victim mentality.
Unfortunately, Mamdani is not alone. His brand of envy-fueled politics is gaining traction with young people across the country.
That’s why the work we do at The Atlas Society is more important than ever before.
I’m Jennifer Anju Grossman, CEO of The Atlas Society. Through our viral videos, graphic novels, online courses, and live events, we are reaching the next generation and giving them the tools to reject the ideology of victimhood and pathological altruism.
Your gift of $25, $50, or even $100 will help us break the chains of Mamdani’s toxic ideology and give the next generation the tools to live freely, think independently, and achieve greatness.

Rand called art “the indispensable medium to convey moral ideals.”
That’s why the Atlas Society leverages art to reach new audiences with our action-packed animated book trailers, provocative Draw My Life videos, and captivating graphic novels.
For many young people, this is the first time they will learn about Ayn Rand’s work.
By introducing the next generation to the empowering principles of Objectivism, we provide a rational and moral alternative to the culture of collectivism and envy.
Instead of teaching victimhood, we teach individual agency.
Instead of promising handouts, we promote hard work.
Instead of scapegoating the successful, we celebrate them.
But we can’t do it without your help.
If you believe, as I do, that America needs a revival of the values that made it great, I’m asking you to make a donation to The Atlas Society today.
Thank you for helping us fight back.

CEO, The Atlas Society
P.S. Mamdani is reviving the same soul-crushing ideas that turned millions of people into state dependents and crushed the best among them.
Young people do not understand how a collectivist state grinds down the human spirit, erodes personal freedom, and destroys individual potential, making fear, envy, and ideological conformity a daily reality.
The Atlas Society wants to stop that from happening here.
Your generous support will help us reach millions of young people with Ayn Rand’s philosophy of Objectivism, a guide to life that celebrates the remarkable potential and power of the individual. Please donate today.
The Atlas Society is a 501(c)(3) Not For Profit Organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
