Governor Greg Abbott has agreed to hold a highly unusual, unscheduled, mid-decade congressional redistricting effort that could disenfranchise minority voters to keep Republicans in office—all at President Trump’s bidding.  

Today, I traveled to the Austin to testify before the Texas House Select Committee on Congressional Redistricting to make it clear that there is a lot at stake. 

Governor Abbott has teamed up with Trump to rob Texans of their vote to cling to power, but we will fight back. Read more about redistricting efforts in Texas here.
