Last week, I wrote President Trump and Secretary Lutnick, requesting an audit of Arizona's election systems and practices. That letter is being considered as we speak!
I did want to report on one big issue for us here in Arizona: proof of citizenship in voting.
The 9th Circuit Federal Court affirmed our right to demand proof of citizenship several times. In a state with as many as 1 million illegals, this is a requirement and necessity.
Now Wyoming had their own similar law challenged- but the AZ Senate chose to back them up in court. And Wyoming won!
It is now settled law that states may require proof of citizenship to vote!
We have passed a LOT of good election integrity legislation in the AZ Senate. I was happy that Yellow Sheet had myself and Warren Petersen as "straight A" on their scorecard (even if they did misspell my name!)
