This is urgent,John.

Tomorrow, the Trump Administration will file briefs with the Supreme Court in an attempt to strip 23.3 million Americans from their health insurance.

Yes, you read that right: the Trump Administration is trying to take away our health care again -- this time in the middle of a pandemic.

This is urgent,John, people in this country are facing unprecedented struggles right now. Texas is home to the largest uninsured population in the country, and since the pandemic those numbers have reached record levels.

This should not be a partisan issue. This is the time to expand health care, not take it away. But the Trump Administration continues with their cynical, partisan ploy that shows they are more worried about fulfilling an empty campaign promise than fixing our health care system.

If you’re as outraged as I am, now is the time to act. Add your name next to mine to demand that this lawsuit end. We must expand health care, not take it away.

FIGHT FOR OUR CARE ⇒ [link removed]

When we took back the House in 2018, we did it with a clear mandate: we needed to protect and expand our care. I’m proud to do my part in Congress to fight for lowering prescription drug costs and protecting people with pre-existing conditions -- but I know that every day, our health care is at risk.

And every day, we have to keep special interest-backed politicians from stripping health care from millions of Americans.

Representatives are supposed to fight for the people, not for corporations or a broken system that puts profits over our health. Tomorrow’s Supreme Court filings are proof that some politicians will do anything to keep the corporate money flowing, including putting their own constituents in harm’s way.

That cannot stand -- and I need you to stand against it with me.

Let's get to work,
