Friends, earlier this month, Georgia voters, mostly in minority neighborhoods, were forced to wait as long as five hours in line to cast their votes in the state's primary. Machines were broken. Ballots were missing. People on the ground called it "chaos."

But this election wasn't just mismanaged. It was deliberately set up to fail - and it was the canary in the coal mine for future elections.

The GOP has been suppressing Black and minority votes for decades, and they've gotten bolder in recent years. Democratic leaders - from Stacey Abrams to Hillary Clinton, including our Democratic Attorneys General - have spoken out against Georgia's blatant voter suppression. But change won't come unless you join them.
