Trump’s tariffs aren’t just bad policy — they’re a wrecking ball aimed at small businesses. They drive up costs, choke supply chains, and make it harder for everyday Americans to get ahead.

I’ve seen it firsthand — in my own family.

Let me tell you our story: Four years ago, during the pandemic, my wife Jenn lost her job. Then our dog Winston cut his paws on broken glass littered on a street and needed extensive surgery. Jenn looked everywhere for protective dog shoes — but nothing worked. So she got to work herself and created her own company, called Air Pup.

Jenn poured everything into building that business. Long nights. Early mornings. Stress, sacrifice, setbacks — the whole journey that every small business owner knows too well. But she made it work. Today, Air Pup is four years old — and I couldn’t be prouder.

But now? Trump’s tariffs are threatening to undo it all.

Air Pup relies on international suppliers — because the infrastructure to manufacture Air Pups simply doesn't exist at a reasonable cost in the U.S. Trump’s tariffs have made those supplies more expensive, harder to access, and wildly unpredictable.

This isn’t some abstract debate. This is personal. This is what happens when policy is written for billionaires, not working people.

It’s not just Jenn. It’s millions of entrepreneurs. And families across the country are feeling the pain: prices rising again in June, driven in part by tariffs, hitting working people who are already stretched thin.

MAGA calls this economic policy. I call it what it is: a war on working people.

They’re tipping the scales even further toward the ultra-wealthy and leaving the rest of us to fend for ourselves.

I’m running for Congress to fight back — for every working family that refuses to give up.
