Last month, Republicans voted to gut healthcare for millions of Americans — and I can tell you, the damage will hit rural and underserved communities the hardest, including right here in California’s 25th District.

That’s why I’m reintroducing the Mobile Cancer Screening Act — a bill to bring life-saving cancer screenings directly to the people who need them most.

While Republicans are ripping away healthcare access, I’m fighting to expand it.

I’ve seen what happens when patients can’t get to a clinic. I’ve seen lives lost because screenings came too late — or didn’t come at all. The Mobile Cancer Screening Act will help change that by deploying mobile screening units to rural communities that have been left behind for far too long.

I believe that if you run for office, you should be doing it to help people, not hurt them. But too many in Congress have forgotten that.

Next year’s election is our chance to hold Republicans accountable. CA-25 is one of the most competitive districts in the country — and we can flip the House blue if we win here.
