Evangelical Leaders Commend Bipartisan Dignity Act as a Way Forward on Immigration - A coalition of evangelical leaders has voiced strong support for the bipartisan Dignity Act of 2025 in a letter to Congress. The bill would allow unauthorized immigrants in the country who meet particular criteria — including passing a criminal background check — to earn permanent legal status if they pay a significant fine as restitution for their violation of an immigration law. Additionally, the bill would further invest in infrastructure at the U.S-Mexico border. The letter notes that these two policy priorities are supported by 76 percent of evangelical Christians, including about seven-in-ten evangelicals who voted for President Trump in 2024. The Evangelical Immigration Table has prepared an easy-to-use advocacy tool to help evangelicals urge their lawmakers to consider this legislation.

Cornyn Joins Cruz, Van Duyne to Introduce Bill to Target NGOs, Stop Radicals Funding Violent Riots - Senators John Cornyn and Ted Cruz, along with Rep. Beth Van Duyne, have introduced the Stop FUNDERs Act to classify rioting as a predicate offense under the RICO Act, enabling the DOJ to prosecute groups that fund or organize violent interstate riots. The legislation aims to target what they describe as coordinated, well-funded efforts behind recent acts of politically motivated violence, while affirming protections for peaceful protest and free speech.

Pfluger, Colleagues Reintroduce Legislation to Protect American Assets From Unlawful Seizure by Foreign Governments - Congressman August Pfluger and Congresswoman Terri Sewell have reintroduced the bipartisan Defending American Property Abroad Act, aimed at deterring foreign governments in the Western Hemisphere from unlawfully seizing U.S.-owned assets, such as Mexico’s ongoing efforts against Vulcan Materials Company. The legislation would authorize retaliatory trade prohibitions, expand Section 301 to include expropriation as an unfair trade practice, and empower the President to enforce sanctions against offending nations. Supported by a broad coalition in both chambers, the bill seeks to protect American companies abroad, uphold property rights, and safeguard national economic interests.
