John --

We called yesterday our Super Tuesday because BNC’s nine New York candidates, and Charles Booker in Kentucky wrapped up fierce primary races, putting the establishment on notice: Progressive values are American values. Votes are still being counted, but it’s looking great for several BNC candidates!

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the way elections AND voting are happening this year. Many anticipated lower voter turnout, but quite the opposite may be true. In New York, most districts are still waiting for thousands of absentee ballots to be counted. We may not know the results for some districts until days from now.

BUT, we are excited and hopeful. And have some great news!

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez swept her election despite the challenge from a heavily bankrolled primary rival. We are thrilled to see her shake up Capitol Hill during her next term!

Can you contribute $6 today to help us build a network of support for our six candidates who are moving on to the general election? [[link removed]]

In New York’s 16th district Jamaal Bowman has declared victory over establishment Rep. Eliot Engel. Bowman and his team have much to celebrate and be proud of, because New York’s 16th has signaled they are ready for new leadership.

Numbers continue to come in for Kentucky, and there is a tight margin between BNC candidate Charles Booker and Amy McGrath , with votes from Jefferson County (Louisville) still outstanding. Louisville has been in the national spotlight as protests erupted in the wake of the police murder of Breonna Taylor. And last week, Kentucky’s Secretary of State announced that Louisville would have only one, ONE polling location for 600,000 registered voters.

The lines were long yesterday and the doors were locked before everyone in line had a chance to vote. Booker called on voters to “stay in line.” Eventually the doors were reopened and all who were waiting were able to cast their ballot.

It looks like Charles may win this, and we await more results from New York!

We are on our way to a Brand New Congress. Every vote cast yesterday in support of a BNC candidate gets our movement closer to victory! We are making a difference, one vote at a time.

For a Brand New Congress,
