That’s right. After years of attacking privacy protections, Trump is once again siding with shady data brokers instead of the American people.
These companies compile detailed profiles on all of us — then rake in billions selling that data to advertisers, insurance firms, law enforcement, and even foreign adversaries. Survivors of domestic violence have been tracked down using data broker records. And Trump just gave them a green light to keep cashing in.
I’ve been fighting to stop this kind of abuse. I introduced the DELETE Act to give every American the power to force data brokers to delete their information – and to do it with just one click. I’ve called out tech giants, grilled company execs, and pushed Congress to act.
