The Trump Administration is deeply corrupt, dangerously reckless, and downright chaotic. That was already the case, but now the Supreme Court’s radical right-wing majority is allowing President Trump to concentrate a truly shocking amount of authoritarian power.

But there are three women on the Supreme Court who ARE courageously calling out the Trump Administration’s abuses in real time.

There has been so much crazy news coming out of D.C. that we wouldn’t be surprised if you missed this, but last week, the Supreme Court’s hand-selected conservative majority signed off on the Trump Administration’s illegal dismantling of the Department of Education without the approval of Congress.

That’s not only an attack on our public schools: it’s an attack on our democracy.

It’s an attack on the separation of powers that our founders established more than two centuries ago. You don’t need to take our word for it — take it from Supreme Court Justice Sonya Sotomayor in her dissent against this blatant attack on our checks and balances:“The majority is either willfully blind to the implications of its ruling or naive, but either way, the threat to our Constitution's separation of powers is grave."

Supreme Court Justices Sonya Sotomayor, Ketanji Brown Jackson, and Elena Kagan are standing together to protect our democracy. The least we can do is do our part to follow their lead and fight for it too.
