In March, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin announced a dramatic shift from the agency's mission of protecting people's health and the environment. 

Then he went even further by reconsidering EPA's widely accepted finding that climate pollution jeopardizes our health and safety — a longstanding determination known as the Endangerment Finding. Now, months later, Zeldin’s draft is awaiting White House review, and we’re expecting to see it any day.  

But before we do, it’s important to understand what the Endangerment Finding is, what’s at stake if it’s weakened and how we’re planning to fight back. Watch our explainer video to learn more.

Defying settled science and the law to weaken this bedrock finding will put the Trump administration on course to eliminate essential Clean Air Act limits on climate pollution. It’s a reckless move that will endanger our health and the planet. 

We’re expecting to see Zeldin’s draft soon.  

But to make this climate nightmare a reality, they’ll need to go through you first, John. Before they can finalize anything, they’ll first need to accept public comments from constituents.
