John,

While Trump is attacking mail-in voting and using this pandemic to try and suppress votes, we have a plan to fight back and drive record voter turnout in November.

Women’s March is partnering with Turnout2020 to call infrequent voters in key swing states to make sure these voters know how to request a mail-in ballot and vote safely. We’re calling voters in MI, PA, WI, AZ, CO, GA, IA, ME, FL, and NC – and we need your help.

No one should ever be forced to choose between risking their life during a pandemic and exercising their right to vote.

But that is exactly the decision many voters may face in November if we don’t get mail-in ballots to as many voters as possible.

In 2016, 35% of Democrats stayed at home and didn’t vote. We all know the ending to that story. Trump became president — and since then we’ve vowed to not let the same mistake happen twice.

Data has consistently shown that direct-voter conversations are the best way to boost turnout. In these key states, the difference between winning and losing can come down to a few hundred votes. Every call truly makes a huge difference in a race this big.

Here’s how TurnOut2020 works:

  1. Sign up to get your call list and volunteer resources.
  2. Make phone calls from your home, or join call parties — whatever works for you.
  3. Chat with swing state voters and help make sure they have what they need to vote-by-mail on or before November 3rd.

It’s that easy — and our team will be there every step of the way to help you get started. Together, we must make 2020 a truly historic year for voter turnout despite COVID-19.

If you have any questions, please reach out to [email protected] and our team can help. We’d love to hear any feedback on the platform so we continue to strengthen and build this movement leading up to the election.

Thank you for taking the time.

P.S. We plan on using this platform more as we get closer to the election, so we will be reaching out soon to our Women’s March volunteers to get feedback and ideas on how the program is working.
