Dear friend,

My birthday is coming up and I only want one thing- basic human rights for everyone. I'm livid that in 2025 this is still not a reality. I don’t want to live in a state of helplessness as I watch my rights and the rights of my neighbors being stripped away. When I'm elected to office in 2026, I'm going to work to make sure our rights are never up for debate again.

I've never been one to want to ask for money and to be honest, I'd rather see money go to community programs directly. Our campaign tries our hardest to work on mostly volunteer power.

However, politics has become a money game. Our opponents have already out-raised us by taking money from large corporations that are harmful to our communities and the environment. 

I refuse to take corporate PAC money.

I refuse to be responsible to anyone but the people. 

That means I need your help. While I wish we could do everything without money, the truth is we need funds to get our message out to our neighbors. We need money for flyers, mailers, and to show our opponents we are serious about this race.

We are holding a birthday fundraiser as another way to support. You can join us at the Offbeat Bar on Monday, July 28th from 8pm-9:30pm to watch some fabulous drag performers as well as two hilarious comedians.

The suggested donation for a ticket is 15 dollars, but we operate under a pay as much as you can system, so that all of our neighbors can join. Even if you cannot make it, a donation would mean the world to us. 

I know we can win this race. Let's show everyone the power of a community funded campaign!
