Dear Friend,

My name’s Tom and I lead our Parliamentary work at Dignity in Dying. MPs passing
the assisted dying Bill at Third Reading last month was a landmark moment. But really, it only represents the halfway point on the road to law change.

That’s why our patron, Dame Prue Leith, wrote to you recently. As the assisted
dying Bill moves into its next phase, we need your backing

The House of Lords is an entirely different ball game and, being frank, we need
the resources to keep the pressure up. Now we’re further along in the process,
and I can see more clearly what lies ahead, I wanted to take the opportunity to
echo Prue's message in her letter to you: the next stage of the campaign is
critical and this cause is too important to fail now.

Will you make a donation today
[[link removed]] and help to power this campaign to the finish line?

Yes, I'll make a donation →

Every donation, large or small, makes a difference at this stage in the campaign
- it’s one more volunteer action supported, 30 more people empowered to share
their experiences with politicians and the press, or 100 more people hearing
about the campaign on social media.

It’s all of us being able to seize every opportunity that we have in this
generation-defining moment for change.

If you’ve already made a donation or responded to Prue’s letter, I couldn’t
thank you more. We would never have made it to this point without you.

Together we will change the law.

Sincerely,

Tom

P.S. With the potential for a vote at the Second Reading of the Bill in the
House of Lords set for 12th September, we need to ensure we have what we need to
see us over the finish line. If you can, please donate today.
