Dear Grassroots Conservatives,
This week, the first special session of the Texas Legislature begins in Austin. Our State Republican Executive Committee leaders have been working all year to achieve wins on our legislative priorities. We need your support to make sure that our legislators know that our legislative priorities, originated by our convention delegates, must become a reality. The special session call includes some RPT legislative priorities that require our advocacy.
On July 9, 2025, Governor Greg Abbott issued a proclamation identifying 18 agenda items for the first special session, which began Monday, July 21, 2025. Read the full proclamation here.
