South Park takes dead aim at Trump and his manhood in new season premiere as creators ink $1.5 billion deal with Paramount

South Park returned to screens on Wednesday after a two-year hiatus — and after signing a huge deal with Paramount (yes, the same Paramount that just axed Stephen Colbert) with an explosive premiere that eviscerated Donald Trump and repeatedly poked fun at the president's so-called micropenis. Toward the end of the episode, the MAGA cult leader sues the people of South Park for $5 billion, which, of course, will almost certainly actually happen IRL in three, two, one...

VIDEO OF THE DAY: Trump DOJ pulls crazy stunt to hide Epstein files

The MAGA cult leader's former personal defense attorney and current deputy attorney general of the United States personally contacted Ghislaine Maxwell's legal team to discuss god knows what in the latest head-turning chapter of the ever-exploding Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Maxwell, of course, is serving a 20-year prison sentence after a jury found her guilty in 2021 of conspiring with Epstein to sexually abuse minors and has petitioned the Supreme Court to overturn her conviction. What could Trump's personal attorney, now armed with the full might of the US Department of Justice, possibly want to discuss with Maxwell, who has every incentive to do whatever she can to NOT spend the next 15 years of her life behind bars? Brian Tyler Cohen breaks down what's really happening and what's really at stake for the president.

Appeals court finds Trump's effort to end birthright citizenship unconstitutional, upholds block
The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco ruled Wednesday that Donald Trump’s order seeking to end birthright citizenship is unconstitutional, affirming a lower-court decision that blocked its enforcement nationwide. It may be hanging on by mere threads, but at least some part of the judicial branch is upholding its constitutional duties and imposing some measure of restraint against the MAGA cult leader's fascistic crusade.

Take Action: Don't cancel Colbert!

Stunning video of Epstein being cagey when asked if he's been with Trump and underage girls resurfaces
It isn't new, but it's definitely worth revisiting. The president of the United States may desperately want all things Jeffrey Epstein to go away, but it turns out cavorting with pedophiles is incredibly sticky business. After more than a decade of fanning the QAnon flames of a phantom, satanic, child sex-trafficking cabal run by — sure, why not — Hillary Clinton from an imaginary pizza parlor basement, the MAGA cult leader is having a hard time putting the lid back on a very real Pandora's Box filled with secrets very much of his own doing. Continue re-rolling the clips, please!

Attorney General Pam Bondi facing Democratic calls to testify following report she told Trump he was in Epstein files

Donald Trump's embattled and woefully compromised attorney general is facing Democratic calls to testify before Congress following The Wall Street Journal's startling revelation that she told the president that his name appeared in the files of the Jeffrey Epstein sex-trafficking investigation. The WSJ reported Wednesday that Bondi told Trump his name was among many high-profile figures mentioned in the files, which the Justice Department this month curiously said it would NOT be releasing despite a deafening clamor from online sleuths, conspiracy theorists, and outspoken members of Trump’s red-hatted base.

Columbia University to pay more than $220 million in deal with Trump administration to restore federal funding
Columbia University has reached a deal with the Trump regime to pay more than $220 million to restore a federal funding cut over claims it failed to combat antisemitism on campus, the university announced Wednesday. The Ivy League school will pay a $200 million settlement to the federal government over three years, the university said. It will also pay $21 million to settle investigations brought by the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. News of the announcement came the same day nearly 80 Palestinian human rights protesters were notified they were being suspended or expelled from the university. Make of that timing what you will.

Purple state Democrat Jonathan Nez takes on one of Trump’s most fanatical servants

Jonathan Nez for Congress: Former Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez is launching his campaign to knock Freedom Caucus loony Eli Crane out of Congress. Crane, a man who calls Matt Gaetz "brother," is one of the most dangerous Republicans in Congress and a direct threat to our democracy: he still denies the 2020 election to this day and helped organize "poll watcher" goons to interfere in the 2024 election. Will you help make history by chipping in to elect the first Indigenous congressman from Arizona and retake control of Congress from Trump’s GOP enablers?

House subcommittee votes to subpoena Justice Department for Epstein files
A House subcommittee on Wednesday voted to subpoena the Department of Justice for files in the sex trafficking investigation into Jeffrey Epstein after Democrats successfully goaded enough GOP lawmakers to defy the MAGA cult leader and Republican leadership to support the action. The vote showed the intensifying push for disclosures in the Epstein investigation even as House Speaker Mike Johnson — caught between demands from Trump and clamoring from his own members for the House to act — was sending lawmakers home a day early for its August recess. The House Committee on Oversight also issued a subpoena Wednesday for Ghislaine Maxwell, a convicted sex offender and girlfriend of the late Epstein, to testify before committee officials in August.

Trump has officially lost the "QAnon Shaman" as one-time supporter turns on MAGA leader: "F*ck this stupid piece of sh*t"
January 6 pardon recipient and one-time ultra MAGA disciple Jake Chansley, better known in the media and online as the "QAnon Shaman," lashed out at Donald Trump this week in a series of posts calling the 79-year-old professional con man a "piece of shit" and a necrophile who probably had to "fuck a corpse AGAIN" to "get BACK into the billionaire’s club." Hoo-boy, where to begin. Can a criminal unpardon a pardoned criminal? Asking for a crook.

Tulsi Gabbard’s claims of an anti-Trump conspiracy are not supported by declassified documents
You will be SHOCKED to learn that conspiratorial tall-tale-teller Tulsi Gabbard's outlandish claims of a deep-state conspiratorial scheme to take down Donald Trump are not corroborated by, ya know, actual documents or evidence in the government's possession.

More incredible hot takes from America's #1 podcaster. Can someone flash a laser pointer on Rogan's forehead or distract him with some really good catnip, please?
