Just this week, the Legislature gaveled in for a special session Abbott claims is about flood relief. But the truth? It’s a calculated cover-up.

Instead of focusing on recovery for the families still reeling from the deadly floods, Abbott jammed through a secretive 18-point agenda full of red meat for far-right donors: * Redistricting to help Trump dilute Blue votes to save the GOP House majority
* Protecting “unborn children”
* THC bans and attacks on local control

And only after public pressure — the very flood alert bill that was shelved months ago will finally see the light of day.
