Economy and Epstein: Gen Z MAGA wants results
Tal Axelrod
Everything we're about to tell you was just reported by Axios, and the next three things we tell you are quoted verbatim.
1. "Republicans made stunning gains in the 2024 election after young voters made an unexpected and unprecedented jolt to the right."
In American history, young voters have reliably went toward the candidate who promised progressive change.
They almost doubled their turnout in the 2018 midterms compared to 2014 which delivered historic gains, like electing Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez against the odds.
But we can't take Generation Z for granted. While other groups are focused on turning out as many voters as possible, Path to Progress understands that we need to put in the work, too, to make the case against MAGA and flip voters. Can you chip in so we can reverse this trend across Generation Z voters? ➪
2. "I would still say it's important, and obviously it's been talked about at this event, is clarifying and cleaning up the Epstein stuff."
The MAGA movement has been spiraling as it becomes more and more obvious that Trump is not delivering on his promises to fight corruption.
Instead, he's proving how corrupt his administration is by mocking his own voters who are demanding transparency.
This is a major weakness in Generation Z's support for Trump. We aren't here to decide what voters should or shouldn't care about: we're here to win on the issue. Can you chip in to help us message on Trump's failures? ➪
3. "Studies have shown that while young voters have drifted to the right, they still hold liberal beliefs on social issues compared to conventional Republican or MAGA beliefs."
Generation Z is looking for their place in this country and its future.
They're pissed about Jeffrey Epstein because they know that those in power are doing everything they can to stay there while pushing others down.
That's why we have to have a progressive message that tells Generation Z that the American Dream isn't over for them. We need to champion our diversity as our strength, not our weakness, and support a coalition that brings in more voters than it turns away. Can you chip in so we can build that coalition? ➪
Democracy can't wait,
