Earlier this year, I delivered the longest recorded speech in United States Senate history because what is happening in our country today, quite simply, cannot continue. I held the floor until my voice was raspy and I was out of breath because the stakes are SKY HIGH.
And recently, I had the honor to give another speech (a little shorter this time!) to the California Democratic Party convention. I came all the way to the west coast because we need to take energy from Washington DC and carry it to all the states and communities that will decide control of the Congress.
And this might surprise you since it leans blue at the presidential level, but California is at the very top of that list.
Will you make a split contribution toward my campaign and their mission of protecting incumbents and taking back the House right now? If we want to thwart the Trump administration, we need to hold Democratic seats in California and flip a few more from red to blue.

If you aren’t sure about how critical California is at this moment, just look at how hard Donald Trump is fighting to crush the spirit of the state.
In response, the California Democratic Party is working to scale their organizing programs sooner than planned. These are the same organizing programs that helped usher in victories for my new Congressional colleagues Derek Tran, Dave Min, Adam Gray, and George Whitesides in 2024. These members are now fighting against the Trump Administration and for everyday Americans in Washington.
Your representatives are working hard. But I want to stop Trump and his cronies in their tracks, and we simply can’t do that if we don’t control Congress. The road to the House Majority runs straight through California – which is why we need to support expanded organizing programs right now.
