More than 80% of Earley’s donations came from corporations.
Our donors are real people, working hard to make ends meet, who can't fund us with thousands of dollars a month. We only outraised Earley by 60% in dollars, but we outraised him by 773% in terms of donors. That's because you and your friends and neighbors stepped up and supported us.
But we can't slow down. We need to continue building this small coalition of $25 donors. $50 donors. $5 per month recurring donations.
There is no such thing as small change in our campaign. Every penny is critical. We don't have Earley's corporate buddies to fall back on. We can't call up corporate interests and Trump appointees for an extra $50,000 to run some ads.
Our success is in your hands, just like my priorities will be when we win and I go to the House of Delegates to represent you. Not corporations. Not investment groups or real estate moguls.
